A 38-second launch film for Zebec Cards and Zano. When $ZANO and $FUSD card deposits came back online, Zebec needed to show privacy coins could finally be spent wherever Mastercard is accepted. We told it as a story of thaw: a $ZANO coin locked in ice is released on the drop of the track, then follows the journey through the Zebec SuperApp, card top-ups, contactless payment and everyday spending,
A CLOSER LOOK
From the storyboard
Black frame. Extreme macro on the top ribbon of the 3D Zebec mark: dark glass tube, mint core, a pulse of light travelling along it.
The halftone hexagon dots fly in from depth and lock around the two ribbons on the beat; emerald horizon blooms; wordmark blurs in.
A slab of black obsidian ice fills the frame; the hook line is etched into it, frost in the letters catching a hard cold rim light. Frozen breath-like haze hangs mid-air, completely still.
